Dragan Mitrović (born in Belgrade in 1953), lawyer and full professor at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, now retired. Graduated in 1976, master's degree in 1982 and doctorate in 1987 with a dissertation Content and forms of legality. He taught the courses Introduction to Law, Autonomous Law, Theory of the State and Law, and Holism and Law. He was the head of the Department of Theory, Sociology and Philosophy at the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade from 2009 to 2015. He was also a member of the editorial boards of the international journals "Journal on Legal and Economic Issues of Central Europe" from 2010 to 2015 and the journal "Annals of the Faculty of Law in Belgrade" from 2009 to 2016. He initiated the special library Translations of the works of great lawyers (since 1997), later World Legal Heritage (since 2010). He has published several scientific works, university textbooks and other legal works. This collection of 10 books was published by the reputable publishing house "Dosije" from Belgrade, and the author explains the reasons for making it available in digital form to the general public as follows: More than forty years have passed since I embarked on a unique academic path that led me into the world of legal theory, philosophy and law as such. I recorded the most important results of that research in my numerous books and articles. This is the reason why I decided at the very end of my active career to classify some of my larger works into my "Selected Legal Works". Those ten volumes are the end of my academic engagement and in a way the crown of my scientific performance. I decided to transfer that crown and put it at your free disposal. It's no accident. The most enjoyable part of my academic journey has been spending time with generations of law students over the decades. This is my gift to them. Ž. M. Sept. in 2026
